How much do I charge for writing, editing or proofreading?
Each project is unique in , so you and I will work out a price that suits us both.
Price depends on complexity, deadline and original state, and the chances of you and I developing a long-standing relationship -- the more work you give me, the cheaper it gets.
What are your options?
I'm very flexible. Get in touch to open negotiations on a fixed-price project.
You might prefer to go by hour. I use Toggl to track my time -- this is a good option for proofreading or editing, particularly. Assume around £60 an hour as a starting point.
If you'd like a per-word calculation, you can get a rough idea of price in the table below.
Price is flexible, and I've found, over the years, that each approach's cost works out at about the same. Whatever you feel most comfortable with, I'm happy with.
